Rearing when napping what would your tactic be

My mare rears . She doesn't go high but it is her standard 'f off' move it's very obvious when she's going to do it and I can stop her doing it by flexing heR neck one way or the other... but she does it to nap. It's more frustrating than dangerous she only goes a foot or two up but it is very annoying. She slams the brakes on, reverses 2 steps then goes up ... I sometimes hold her Neck straight to make her go to where she's backing off going and sometimes I hike her neck round so she can't go up but the I feel she's won as she is no longer going on 'my path' ... it's all about being with her boyfriend and she only does it at home ... I think this is cos she is less confident out and about and feels safe at home ... which tactic would you take or is there something I haven't thought of?
