WWYD- Vet Believes Product Injured Horse

Just after opinions on what action you would expect from the company that supplied the product. I wont mention company or product as still in 'discussions' with them so please don't ask or try to guess. Situation- My OH used the suspect product on her competition horses leg. Product was left on overnight for 10 hours not the full 24 that is stated in the instructions. Product is stated as safe to use on packaging. No mention of need to patch test etc. This was the result after just the 10 hours. Who knows what we would be dealing with if left on for 24. Leg was fine before application. Image: https://i.imgur.com/CtxsShf.jpg Horse has had to be kept stabled 24/7 with multiple visits per day. Likely to miss rest of summer comp season. So how would you expect the company to react. Your thoughts?
