Oster Stewart large trimmers

Hi,I am new to the sight but I own a set of Oster Stewart trimmers that came to me as a barter. On the cutter it has the no 4AU. I have never used it on a horse but it was used to trim a very shaggy spaniel a couple of times. I loaned it to a friend who kindly had it sharpened. I need to set the blades to a cutting depth but after some basic research it appears that the unit does not accept setting combs but the whole blade has to be replaced. If that is the case it is no good for my dogs needs. Can anyone confirm the info received. Regards
