Livery business

Hello all I am new and just testing the waters, I know nothing about horses at all! We may be purchasing a house which has 1 acre of land, 6 stables and about 5/6 blocks of grassed areas which is all gated and fenced off. Just wondering about the possibility of running my own livery and what would be needed, the responsibilities involved, the costs and the potential profit etc. I know that there are diy liveries and also ones where the owner helps out a lot towards the horses. What sort of money could I expect from each? I've been told the man who had the property beforehand us had 10 horses there but have since been told you should only have 1 horse per acre. How could I work this with regards to how many horses etc Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated. Jodie
