jekyll and hyde...

this morning I was schooling my girl and it really was a game of 2 halves... she started by napping to the gate, planting and being a pain in the arse, then all of a sudden it was as if she said, whatever, and got on with it and produced the best work she'd ever given me...she has always been like this. is this normal for a mare (i've only ever had geldings before) or is she odd.PS she's been scoped, had her back looked at on numerous occasions and has had her saddle checked by 2 different saddlers and her physio who she sees every 6 weeks for maintainence, so I'm fairly confident there is no pain here.
