The next Battlefield entry will be a competitive cops and robbers game, a far cry from the military-focused franchise, Electronic Arts confirmed late Monday.
Battlefield Hardline was detailed on EA's blog (http://www.ea.com/news/battlefield-hardline-coming-this-fall) after details were leaked online. The game is being developed by Visceral, k**wn for the Dead Space ******, instead of by the typical developer DICE.

A seven-minute trailer with the codename Omaha, which leaked Tuesday morning, has since been made private on YouTube (http://mashable.com/category/youtube/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss). It shows off multiplayer modes where players can be law enforcement or the criminals trying to evade them and boasts a single-player mode that focuses on a drug cartel and police corruption.
