Resisting the temptation to buy another horse....

I occasionally think about getting a 2nd horse but it's only a passing fancy and I soon remember that it would cost a lot more money to keep/ insure etc and be twice the work.Some of you may have read my recent posts about losing my confidence/mojo with my mare and her being petrified and probably dangerous on the roads.I have had my mare for 7 years but never really made the progress I want to with her as she always just throws down too many challenges and makes everything difficult. Before I had her I had a lovely sensible schoolmaster type gelding. He was easy going and willing and went along with whatever I wanted to do. I can't part with my mare. She's a nightmare at times but I'm very attached to her and she is the type that people get fed up with and pass on. I've thought about PTS but in all honesty I couldn't do it as she's happy and well. I keep going through the options and I keep finding myself looking at nice sensible cobs about 14.3 that hack in traffic and school nicely. I know it's a really dumb idea but I'm tempted to go and have a look at a couple "just in case".Please talk me out of it!
