Yard still not on 24/7 turnout?

I'm relocating to Hertfordshire soon, I don't know the area and am relying mostly on facebook to find a yard. I went to see a yard that seemed pretty nice with an outdoor school and hacking looks great with a proper network of bridleways on the doorstep. However they're still bringing in overnight, were on half day turnout for much of winter and no turnout in bad weather. The yard I'm moving from we only had to bring in overnight from December and have been on 24/7 turnout since April. Ideally I'd love to be somewhere where he could live out 24/7/365 but know I'm unlikely to find that. But I'm not sure how much I'd like being on a yard where they're only out 24/7 for about 4 months of the year and can be quite restricted in winter. Is this just the reality of living in the south east? Am I likely to find much better? The stable is also on the smaller side which makes it a bit more annoying that he'd be in so much.
