The New York Post (http://nypost.com/2014/05/27/apple-cuts-purchase-price-of-beats/) reports hearing that Apple has cut its proposed acquisition price for Beats from $3.2 billion to about $3 billion. Even at the lower price tag, however, the Beats deal would still represent Apple's largest acquisition to date by far.
