فن الرسم على جدران الشوارع يبدو في بعض الأحيان متنفس للفنان حتى يستطيع أن يكسر حاجز القمع والجدران الخرسانية والمباني التقليدية التى لطالما عاش فيها، وهذا ما استطاع فعله بعض الفنانون لتحويل شوارع نيويوك إلى معرض فني كبير.
