I am fully aware that Billy is an unusual horse in many ways but was wondering if you think this is odd even for him lol.As you all know he lives out with 2 donks and 3 alpacas. Little alpaca was born in field with him (when the alpaca Facebook page heard this their keyboards fainted, a 17h horse with 4 metal shoes in with a newborn) and as such Billy is big brother and the little alpaca I think is half horse going by the way she acts! But even I was surprised when the girls were visited by the stud males (5 handsome boys ;) ) and when trailer door was dropped, Billy (who was looking over the wall into the yard, he’s very tall lol) started to nicker at them!!He acted like they were long lost friends and he kept knickering and being friendly, not at all suspicious or protecting his girls but welcoming the new alpacas into his herd!! If all goes well next spring I think he will love a larger herd of his alpacas :We did have to take Billy out of the field and put him somewhere else as he was distracting the males lolIs your horse weirdly friendly? Or has some unusual field mates?
