"I was trained as a spy in sort of the traditional sense of the word," S**wden told NBC News anchor Brian Williams (http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/edward-s**wden-interview/exclusive-edward-s**wden-tells-brian-williams-i-was-trained-spy-n115746), "in that I lived and worked undercover, overseas, pretending to work in a job that I'm **t, and even being assigned a name that was **t mine."
He said he'd done this work at "all levels," as an agent on the ground and "all the way to the top," for the CIA, the NSA and Defense Intelligence
