If weeks of reports are accurate (http://mashable.com/2014/05/08/apple-beats-**t-headphones/?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=), and Apple (http://mashable.com/category/apple/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) is days or possibly even hours away from an**uncing its largest-ever acquisition — a multibillion dollar purchase of Beats (http://mashable.com/category/beats/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) — then I suppose congratulations are in order. Forgive me if I only offer the half-hearted hand-grasp of an old buddy at a wedding who wants to support his friend, but can't shake the feeling he's making a grave mistake, and could yet be stopped at the altar
