Hotel ig**res orders to pay ex-employees their benefits

MAKKAH - Nine citizens who were employed by Makkah InterContinental said for the past five years they have been chasing after unpaid benefits for their employment at the hotel, which has constantly been told by local authorities to pay up. The citizens told Makkah daily that they have worked at the hotel for 22 years until it was demolished five years ago. They said that they have complained to a number of concerned bodies that issued directives to the hotel management to pay out the compensation but those orders were ig**red. Khalid Al-Thebaiti, one of the employees, said the hotel management **tified them that all old Saudi employees were considered government employees.
