BD Prize Money

Hi GuysI entered my first affiliated last week and to my surprise came 2nd in both classes.I didn't realise until afterwards that it was advertised with prize money. I contacted the organiser querrying if it was correct but she hasn't responded.I'm just wondering what the normal practice is really prize money.Thanks
