My horse was being pretty naughty at the weekend - it's spring after all - and I thought that at my age I really don't want to fall off and certainly not on the road. I have been considering getting a body protector for hacking, but I often have to get on and off to open gates, etc. and I can see me forgetting to undo the lanyard if I got one of those explosive ones. Also, is a protector designed for high speed riding as suitable for hacking?Anyone with any experience of what they think is the best?
