Towing with a fully loaded 3.5t. Is it possible.

Hi, I have researched the forum and whilst there's similar questions I'm still confused (doesn't take much).I have done my trailer test, but recently converted a 3.5t van that has 900kg payload. We have also bought a caravan as we go to weekend drives. With everything loaded up, we'll be heading for full weight. Does that mean we can't tow anything as we would be over our combined 3.5t weight?Thanks
