YouTube could be purchasing Twitch (http://mashable.com/category/twitch/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss), the largest video game live-streaming network, for $1 billion, according to a report released by Variety (http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/youtube-to-acquire-videogame-streaming-service-twitch-for-1-billion-sources-1201185204/) Sunday evening.
According to Variety, the $1 billion deal will be an all-cash transaction, and will be an**unced shortly.
