Peace body member killed in Bajaur blast

KHAR: A member of the pro-government peace committee was killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast at Gat Agra area in Bajaur Agency on Friday, official sources said. They said that Abdur Rehman was on his way home, when explosive device planted by the miscreants on the roadside in Gat Agra area, went off, killing him on the spot. His vehicle was completely destroyed in the blast. Following the incident, the security forces and the officials of the political administration cordoned off the area and started search operation.
