Finally!

The little moo bag that causes me endless stress went out for the first time in 7 months today. She badly damaged a vertebrae in her neck last June, still not sure how but it took months of box rest etc then slowly hand walking etc to get her sound again. Due to the odd positioning of the Injury and X rays not being the clearest. It was questionable if she would ever come sound but we have persevered so long as she was happy. Even before that injury she was off and on box rest with laminitis, slight rotations. The last few years have been an absolute nightmare. But today she went out with a new herd, wasn't a complete idiot and has finally had the chance to run around and plaster herself head to hoof in mud. The pampered little Princess was at the gate by 2pm waiting to come in for dinner and a nice warm stable though. She's gotten used to room service... Please keep your fingers crossed that madam can be a horse again for a while and give me a break...
