My daughter the horse thief (shes only 10)

To cut a long story short, bought a 12.2 pony for daughter and have struggled with her confidence on him since a nasty fall 2 years ago. Finally got fed up of waiting and bought myself a lovely Connemara gelding....my daughter now rides him when we are cooling down after I've done all the schooling, (long rein, walking etc). She's now in love with him and wants to ride him more, I know I should be ecstatic she wants to ride again and is loving him but part of me is annoyed that she doesn't show this much love in the saddle to her pony although she does love him just not riding him. Do I keep letting her get more confident on my horse or make her ride her pony.
