LAKKI MARWAT: Police have arrested a man in a child molestation case and recovered a repeater gun with cartridges from him in Naurang town, officials said.
A police official said that a 10- year-old boy was molested in Mammakhel village of Naurang town on February 6 and area police began efforts to arrest the culprits as soon as the incident was reported to it.
He said that two cousins including Musawar and Altaf were going to playground when the accused persons, Qaiser and Rizwan, allegedly took them to their guestroom at gunpoint. "They allegedly molested Musawar and also threatened the boys not to narrate the incident to anyone," he maintained.The official said a party of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak Police Station headed by Station House Officer Zaheer Khan arrested one of the accused Qaiser. The police seized a repeater gun and ammunition from him an hour after the incident.
