thinking of bitting the baby pony

Small pony is three and starting to think of a few things she could learn over the summer. I dont have any tack to fit her so will have to buy so advice please on the best starting bit. and where will I find a tiny roller. She wont be backed for a long time but once the weather and ground improve would like to get her long reining and out and about round the roadsSaddle ideas might be useful too she is a very flat packed welshie section a and is still slowly losing weight so would like to get her slimmer and be useful into the bargain
