Lesson report - I can't move

As some of you may know I had to retire my mare in May, I have been riding friends Horses every now and then, but none are looking for a regular rider, they are just doing me a favor. So I decided I am going back to lessons. I found a lady close by who teaches on her own Horses, she specializes in SJ and for now I am working on my flat work. Boy did she work me hard, in a half hour lesson I was doing "legs away" to help correct my lower leg position, trotting in the jumping position to help my balance and then to end we did some walk to canter transitions. The result is today I can't move, my thighs are on fire and I am walking like John Wayne. It was super fun though and I am going to have a lesson every other weekend.
