This Is What Kids Think the Future of Space Looks Like

Kids have some awesome ideas about what space really looks like.
NASA asked students in grades K-12 in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia to imagine "colorful visions of bold astronauts, interplanetary space travel and roving robots" for the 2014 NASA Langley Research Center art contest (http://www.nasa.gov/larc/2014-nasa-langley-art-contest/). This year's theme was "The Future Is **w," and it asked young artists to explore how tech**logy is bringing what was once thought to be fantasy into reality. In a word, their submissions are adorable.
