Wii U May Be Nintendo's Worst-Selling Console Ever

Nintendo's Wii U is well on its way to becoming the worst-selling home console the company has ever produced — even worse than GameCube — according to an earnings report (http://mashable.com/2014/05/07/nintendo-loss-fiscal-2013/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) released last week.
According to the report, the Wii U (http://mashable.com/category/wii-u/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) sold fewer than 3 million units in the 12-month fiscal year ending March 31, which is down from a measly 3.6 million units the previous year. It's a far cry from 2009 when the original Wii sold more than 25 million units
