Can't understand the increases?

Over the last few weeks I have noticed that almost all the the costs for my horses have increased beyond anything I would ordinarily expect. I appreciate that costs differ depending where in the country you are so I will only talk percentages.Shoes have increased by 8%Physio/back manipulator by 8%Pellet bedding by 23%Call out for vet 40%Hay, despite buying in bulk 50 large bales at a time, rise by 46%My increase in finances 1.5%I don't expect people to subsidise my horses but I really struggle to understand the vast increases in prices that have occurred & would love for these people to justify their price increases which far outstrip normal cost of living rises. Is it covering expenses? don't really think so! Is it profiteering, more likely! What do you think?
