How long did it take you to get horse using themself aft injury?

Because I had to shorten it, my question is: How long did it take you to get your horse working correctly after an injury? Anyway, Harley was brought back (very slowly) into work in February 2017 after a field accident in September 2016. We are only now starting to get elements of working in a frame and him becoming more supple. As you can tell, it?s taken us a while to get to this place and we?ve still got a long way to go. Coming back to my question, I was just interested to know how long it took you to develop bend & your horse to come ?on the bit? after injury. Probably a very silly forum but curiosity has got the better of me lol :)
