Square on Monday introduced an app called Square Order that lets you preorder meals and coffee from restaurants.

The app, which is available on iOS (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/square-order-pickup-from-local/id873401154?ls=1&mt=8) but still in beta on Android (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/square-order-android-beta), is pretty much the same thing as Square Market (http://mashable.com/2013/06/26/square-market/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss), an Amazon competitor that Square introduced in 2013.
