United just expanded its 'basic economy' fare to even more flights

United's super cheap "basic economy (https://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/inflight/basic-economy.aspx)" option is taking over more seats on flights.
The airline's basic economy fare was introduced last year (https://mashable.com/2016/11/17/overhead-bins-united-airlines/), but in an earnings call earlier this week United announced an expansion of the minimal seating option, according to the Verge (https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/24/16929034/united-airlines-basic-economy-more-flights-international). More routes will have the "basic economy" option, including international flights.*
