A child's birthday party became a horrific tragedy in Sacramento, California, after a group of gunmen opened fire, killing one man and wounding six others on Saturday.
Gunmen fired "several shots" toward a group gathered at a playground at Peregrine Park (http://www.cityofsacramento.org/parksandrecreation/parks/sites/peregrine-park_plan.htm) to attend the birthday party of a 1-year-old child around 5 p.m. PT, hitting "multiple people," the Sacramento Police Department said in a release (http://www.sacpd.org/newsroom/releases/liveview.aspx?release_id=20140511-053).
