A provision in viral trivia app HQ's terms of service unearthed Monday by Vox (https://www.vox.com/2018/1/22/16851342/hq-trivia-lag-scam-explained) presents a loophole for the company to get out of paying prize money to some winners.*

It was already common knowledge for players of the daily live trivia app that you needed to bank at least $20 before you could cash out. But the terms of service (https://hq.hype.space/legal/rules.html) seem to indicate that there's a time limit to accrue that amount, or your winnings get erased:
