Grass Mats for field shelter and gateways

Hey all I'm a long time member but mostly a lurker for the last few years!I thought that you might be interested in my blog today about grass mats and coping with the mud given this savage weather we are having (all the horses have been in and the rain has been non stop this weekend, I had to cancel my SJing plans :( )Here's the link > http://www.gifthorseeventing.co.uk/2018/01/grass-mats-for-your-horses-paddock-godsend-or-gimmick.htmlI don't think the fields are looking too bad given the amount of rain etc, do your paddocks look more or less muddy? Do you have any more top tips for keeping the mud at bay? Roll on spring I am VERY over winter now ;)
