Paul Bettany is "being lined up" to play the famously gaffe-prone royal in Netflix's The Crown, Variety reported on Saturday (http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/paul-bettany-prince-philip-the-crown-1202670999/).*

Bettany would join Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter — set to play Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Margaret, respectively — in the cast.
