Demand to re-enact Mineral Act 2005

PESHAWAR: The Frontier Mine Owners Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has asked the government to repeal the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minerals Governance Act 2017 and re-enact the Mineral Act 2005. Speaking at a Press Conference at the Peshawar Press Club on Friday, Provincial President Frontier Mine Owners Association Sher Bandi Khan Marwat said the new act 2017 had increased political interference in Mineral Department.
