Horse has been in since mid November with laminitis with the exception of two or three hours during which her laminitis worsened due to mechanical forces acting on her laminae. She has been in for the time recommended by the vet, has had her realigning trim carried out and is now pain free. I turned her out today for the first time in a small 25ft square of soft ground and she hooned around in circles for five mucky minutes until I caught her up and took her back in. I really don't want to go back to square one a second time. Any ideas how to settle her down before she breaks herself?
