Slowing a greedy eater!

Title pretty much says it all! I've changed my boy who's stabled from about 4pm to 8am onto a combo of hay and haylage as a way of combatting a dust issue, and between that and ***** turnout he's hoovering up two greedy feed haynets well before I come back in the morning. I'm hesitant to up the amount because he's out of work and has already piled on a fair amount of weight and is resembling a rather hairy barrel on sticks, but I also don't want him to go without forage and risk health issues. Is there anything I can do to slow him down??
