Months after the FCC badgered Apple to do it, (http://mashable.com/2017/09/28/fcc-apple-activate-fm-radio/) Samsung is finally unlocking the FM radio chip in its next smartphone models.*
The company announced (https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/samsung-becomes-latest-phone-manufacturer-to-unlock-the-fm-chip-300580225.html) Tuesday that its upcoming devices will contain unlocked FM radio chips.
