New horse arrives Sunday 😊🤗

Long story short. I lost my old pony 18 months ago after he fractured his tibia in the field. He was 23 and had other health complications too. It destroyed me. It's taken me until recently to even get back near horses again. I blame my friend. I'd convinced myself I'd never have another one. Yes, get back in the saddle one day, but not to put myself through it again. Said friend asked me to clip her mares back in October. Just 1 hour spent back on my old yard and that was that. I was scouring through the for sale ads. So a new era begins. My new horse arrives Sunday and I can't wait. I keep watching the videos of him over & over. I'm also a bit nervous as you never know how a new horse will settle. It's my 3rd time doing this. I hope he is everything I've been dreaming of. My friend has kindly let me ride one of her mares the last couple of weeks and I can't believe how much riding fitness I've lost. Yet, I'm a runner. Running up to 30 miles a week. I'd post a pic of my new boy but it won't let me. My profile pic is my old boy, Ben. I miss him so much.
