Hi all :)I've had my horse for 4 years but I feel like I've lost my motivation/love for it all/him over the past few months. I don't have any urges to go a hack, jump, school or ride in general. I've not ridden since end of November but I don't miss it just now. I know I would miss the social side as I've made so many good friends since joining the horsey world. I feel like I'm just going through the motions just now, doing the winter stabling routine, half asleep, and I'm struggling for motivation/energy to go up to the stables. I don't feel anywhere near as confident as I should considering how many lessons, competitions, etc, I did throughout the year. I know only I can make the decision but I would like to hear from people who have given up horses and whether they regret it or feel it's one of the best decisions that they have made? I don't know if it's because I know he's there just now, I feel okay about giving up but I don't want to regret it a few months down the line. I'm so stuck and I feel guilty considering giving up because I know so many people would love a horse but they can't afford it, whether it's time or money.I really appreciate any responses on your personal experiences x
