ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday asked the party leadership to effectively combat the US narrative against Pakistan at the national level and in the international media.
In this regard, he chaired a party meeting that took stock of the situation arising out of US President Donald Trump?s threats to Pakistan. The meeting was given a detailed briefing on the party?s stated position on the matter.
Imran strongly condemned what he alleged Nawaz Sharif?s attacks on the state organisations for personal benefits. The meeting believed that Nawaz was trying to unleash anarchy in the country.
It was alleged that the genesis of narrative of Trump and Nawaz was identical, as the former was exerting pressure on Pakistan from abroad while domestically, Nawaz was trying to put the state under pressure. Imran said Nawaz?s ?Tehreek-e-Fassad? had fizzled out in the waters of Arabian Sea.
