Ideas for a present after PTS

My friend's horse has just had to be put to sleep unexpectedly aged 24 after a bout of colic. She is absolutely devastated as they had been together for 17 years. I'd like to make or buy her a little present to let her know I'm thinking of her and to help her remember the happy times. Any suggestions? I'm reasonably good at sewing, paper craft etc so was wondering about something handmade as that's an interest we share, but running a little dry on inspiration!
