Artist Adam Lister (http://www.adamlistergallery.com/) combines the art world with the video game (http://mashable.com/gaming/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) world by taking famous paintings and images from pop culture and painting them as 8-bit graphics. Lister begins with familiar pieces like Van Gogh's Starry Night or da Vinci's The Last Supper and transforms them into flat, angular shapes — all in stunning works of watercolor.
