Mare is still coming into season?!

Hi all! I hope you had a lovely Christmas.I just had a quick question, my mare is still coming to season regularly even at this time of year and I've tried to give her Agnus Castus over the last couple of weeks, eased in gradually which took a while as she hated it even with a sprinkle on her feed. Got to being able to just about give her a 25ml scoop of it in her dinner the last few days but yesterday and today she isn't eating any of her dinner at all. Ended up giving her dinner without it in and she ate it fine. Is it worth persisting with it or just let her get on with it? I just don't want her to be uncomfortable when it's not necessary. Or is there something else that is a bit more palatable?Thank you!
