MULTAN: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that there was no use of alliance against government at present.
He was optimistic about holding of next elections on time and said that there was no particular reason of delay in the next elections as he hoped these would be held on time.
Talking to media here on Wednesday Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the people voted for parties on basis of their political manifesto and performance therefore the political parties manifesto should be envisaged economic prosperity and peace. The merger of Fata with KP must be considered in light of the peoples? wishes as any decision taken forcefully could be backlashed, he said adding that those who were urging the Fata-KP merger, had already denied what the decision taken by the Fata jirga. Replying to a question he said that the next elections would be held on time and Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) would take part with its full capacity.Commenting on media role, JUI-F chief said that media is playing biased role by giving coverage to their liked parties therefore media should make balance in its coverage.
