ECC approves export of two million tonnes of wheat

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee on Friday allowed export of two million tonnes of wheat in addition to approving procurement and export of 0.6 million tonnes of sugar to reduce the surplus stocks. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi approved the governments of Punjab and Sindh to export 1.5 and 0.5 million tonnes of wheat, including wheat products.
