Though Yahoo has made dubious attempts at short-form entertainment in the past, the shows represent its maiden voyage into TV-style scripted ******, the likes of which have transformed Netflix into an entertainment powerhouse.*Yahoo revealed the two half-hour shows, both eight episodes long, Monday during its annual "NewFronts" presentation to advertisers and media.
