In a potential major blow, HTC loses the man behind its gorgeous smartphone designs

Just as it's been generating a lot of hype and acclaim for its new HTC One (M8) (http://bgr.com/tag/htc-one-m8) flagship smartphone, it looks like the man behind the One (M8)'s killer design is leaving the company. The Verge reports (http://www.theverge.com/2014/4/25/5653082/htc-head-of-design-leaving-the-company) that*Scott Croyle, who has "led HTC's industrial design and user experience teams since his One & Co studio was acquired in 2008," will be departing the company to work on unspecified new projects.
