The Federal Trade Commission called various states' bans on direct sales for automakers like Tesla "bad policy" that stifles competition
The FTC weighed in with a blog post (http://www.ftc.gov/news-events/blogs/competition-matters/2014/04/who-decides-how-consumers-should-shop) on Thursday that argued that while tech**logy has transformed the way we buy other goods, the auto category has remained stubbornly resistant to change.
