AT&T and media investment firm The Chernin Group are putting up $500 million for the creation and development of video streaming services.
The companies would look "to acquire, invest in and launch" so-called over-the-top (OTT) services that provider consumers (http://about.att.com/story/the_chernin_group_and_att_create_new_venture_to_ac quire_invest_in_and_launch_online_video_businesses .html) with online content.
